The True Temper sod lifter is great for removing and transplanting sod. First cut the turf that is to be remove with a sharp object such as a spade or edger. Then slide the sod lifter blade under the turf and work it from side to side gently slicing the roots. Features 9-inch x 5-inch forged steel blade. Strong North American Ash handle. Armor-D grip encases the wood handle completely to prevent twisting. Also makes a great sand trap edger.Forged blade with a 5/8″ x 18″ angled shank for better cutting and lifting.
