With a measuring range of -40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and accuracy within + / – 1 degree of the temperature reading this versatile instrument will give you a precise reading on everything from frozen fish filets to a pot of chicken noodle soup. You can toggle back and forth between Fahrenheit and Celsius using the F/C button and the included AAA batteries provide 4500 hours of use. After 10 minutes of inactivity the automatic shut-off feature is enabled to conserve battery power. The included bracket allows you mount this unit directly to the wall where it’s needed for quick and convenient access. This kit includes 2 probes for the ultimate versatility. The popular 50336-K DuraNeedle probe can be used to measure most food products and has a maximum tip temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes a 12″ polyurethane covered cable which can extend to a length of 48″. The 50306-K is perfect for hot or cold applications and allows you to continually monitor oven freezer or refrigerated storage temperatures.
