Nicor 4 in. Recessed Low-Voltage IC Rated Airtight Housing 14102A

The 14102A four-inch IC rated housing is suitable for new construction in residential and commercial applications and for direct contact with insulation. Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. The airtight housing limits the exchange of air between ceiling plenum and heated/cooled areas. The housing adjusts from 1/2″ to 1 1/2″ to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 7″ height allows it to be used in 2″ x 8″ joist construction. For use with low voltage 20W – 50W MR-16 or JC type lamps.
