The Watersnake ASP T18lb-SW Transom Mount Electric Motor is the baby of all Watersnakes. It’s designed especially for kayaks small dinghies canoes and inflatable boats. The ASP T18-SW has an adjustable transom-mount fitting for easy attachment. There is a high and low speed control a forward and reverse switch and it features an anti-impact clip system in the mount. The two-blade propeller is a weedless design. This Little Watersnake is a lightweight motor offering the ultimate in portability and is ready for saltwater or freshwater. The T-18-SW motor has 18lb thrust and a 24″ 61cm shaft. The recommended battery is a 12-volt deep cycle that has at least 30amp hour as this motor uses 15 amps per hour at full rev. Brackets to mount these to kayaks canoes etc can be purchased from the manufacturer of the kayaks canoes etc but they can also be made custom at home using wood metal etc as this motor has a clamp-like device that just tightens the motor to the bracket.
